Bandung City
Bandung City is my hometown now. but my origin hometown located in western province of Sumatra. The town of a million memories with loved ones, the high hills such as unique city, many things I find there from the customs, culture, meal and social elevator.
In the day of Indonesia’s independence struggle, the high hills were opted as the capital of the Indonesian republic of emergency government in place of Yogyakarta, which fell into the Dutch hands from December 1948 to June 1949, and Dutch colonization of Gadang clock, a clock tower of the size of central bank's index, which since it become a tourist property.
The high hills especially Minangkabau are many traditional
homes or stilts, homes with the roofs like buffalo horns, even schools and
government offices use such as designs, and there isn’t RT/RW but nagari's
guardian system, offline and jorong lurah, jorong lurah is like a leader from a
small area. Now there are an unique of minangkabau culture, those are big event
such as marriage, the coming of big guests, a farewell event, etc must be
opened with a dance called pasamble dance and silat randai. This dance is used
at every major event until it has been a national event.
The invisible lizard is also one of minangkabau's cultural
heritage, which nowadays is a world and the interest of around the world. It's
high in the hills with a lot of tourist spots and foods, one of the most
popular places where rice peas, delicious shares of foods are there, and also
the open feeders, you know what I mean? Yeah, it's western Sumatra, the best
food in the world, and you should try it. I think the minangkabau high hills
are not only great cities but also rich in incredible culture and food, let
alone green mountains and mountains and beautiful tourist attractions, and I
think the best way back to my city was to live with loved ones.
And I'm very proud to live on high hills and have the minangkabau
blood because there are many successful people in the world who has the
minangkabau blood, thank you.
