Karanganyar Regency

Karanganyar is a district in central Java province. The capital city is karanganyar, about 14 km east of the city of surakarta. It borders sragen in the north, ngawi and magetan (east Java) district in the east, wonogiri district in the south, and boyolanda, surakarta, and sukoharjo district in the west. Karanganyar district has an exclave sub-district located between boyolanda ali, sukoharjo district, and surakarta city, which is the colomadu district.

The foreground of what is now the karanganyar district is a relic of Nyi Ageng or Raden Ayu Diponegoro.  The name "Karang" itself is a nickname made up of Raden Ayu Sulbiyah. It is said that karanganyar was once a small name of village based in Kasunanan Surakarta at the time of Sri Pakubuwono II. The agreement of the Giyanti at that time made the division of Mataram Kingdom into two parts of the region. A portion of the land passes through Surakarta Castleas and a part of it goes to Yogyakarta.

The Karanganyar itself enters Kasultanan Yogyakarta, situated in the southern Sukowati region. At the time, the reigning prince was Sri Sultan Hamengkubuwono I, or more commonly known as Pangeran Mangkubumi.

The composition itself is made up of three syllables that has different meanings. The meaning of Ka is short for latin of “Kawibawaning dipun gayuh” in Javanese languages it means the dignity that we have been told to expect. And then, Rang is “Rangkepaning lahir bathin pulung lan wahyuning sampun turun-temurun” It means that sheath is born and inner, pulses and wahyans have descended. Finally, the mean of anyar is “Badhenampi perjanjian anyar utawa enggal winisudha jumeneng Mangkunegoro I” It would be accepting a new testament that had been adopted as Mangkunegoro I.

As one of the most prominent counties in central Java, Karanganyar name has a history of its own. The name of Karanganyar district has been proposed by Raden Mas Said. He himself was better known as the samlifeless prince. Karanganyar regency was officially established on April 19, 1945, or precisely before the independence of Indonesian Republics.

When I was child, my regency was collaborating with nature. Because so many of trees, mountain, river, and forest. So many big trees too in near of highway that can be always fresh air. Until Joko Widodo become the President of Indonesia, my regency has a lot of facilities. Besides, my regency become hot because many investors run to my regency and build business until build in foot of Lawu mountain. I don't know what they are thinking to build business in there because have a high risk and as times goes on our local traders always fall and trees always cut of by government for place their investor. Once the water of river was so clean and fresh, but now it was disgusting. When I child I can swim in the river with my friend, it was so fun. But now fresh and clean water just can find in area of gate enter to mountain and higher than it.

The principle of my regency is "tentram". That mean is safe and lonely. The people of Karanganyar are so polite, quite, have manner, and friendly. In the village I mean in the central of regency, the people in there have different. There is like "Karanganyar" People but there is not like that because they are outsider. But for first impression for of all they are nice people but need time to knowing them. Now, my regency is busy of business and noisy because the busy of people.

There is so many cultures in there. Like Cembengan, Tumplekbleg, Kirab Sedekah Bumi, etc. There are many events every month in my regency like Pagelaran Wayang, Tembang, etc. When I have so many times, I will join it with my friends and it is so fun to enjoy with anyone include family and friend or maybe can lover.

There is so many vacations but not too various like other place. But you can find good waterfall, mountain to hiking, paraglider, some camp of hill, so many rivers, a lot of hotel and villa, coffee fields, tea fields, sendang, reservoir, grave of second of President Indonesia, grave of the kings, grave of Raden Mas Said, Sondokoro, some temples, Sapta Tirta, Watu Kandang, and other else. The culinary my regency is so delicious, sweet, and so nice. Like food from meat of goat, cow, chicken, rabbit, sheep, insects, etc. Also have sweet food and drinks too like ubigo, and wedang uwuh. Coffee and tea from my regency is so unique and sweet. Maybe Karanganyar can you write your list of vacation with your friends, lover, family, or your people going here.
